Private Residence Stewardship · London

Your London residence,
cared for while you're away.

Discreet resident stewardship for internationally owned homes in Prime Central London.

Belgravia · Knightsbridge · Mayfair · Chelsea · Kensington

London, even when you aren't.

A trusted presence in your London home.

For international owners, a London residence may remain unoccupied for weeks or months at a time.

Property managers can inspect it. Security systems can monitor it.

Residence stewardship provides something different: the presence of a trusted individual who knows the home and is there during agreed periods when you are not.

LRO works alongside your existing property manager, household team and professional advisers — never in place of them.

The Service

Residence Stewardship

Every arrangement is individually designed around the residence, the way it is used and the requirements of its principal.

01

Resident Presence

An individually approved steward resides at the property during agreed periods of absence.

02

Observe & Report

Routine observation of the residence, with anything unusual promptly reported through the agreed channels.

03

Access & Liaison

Where authorised, the steward can facilitate access for existing property managers, household staff and approved contractors.

04

Flexible Occupancy

The arrangement is built around the principal's use of the residence. The steward vacates whenever the home is required according to the agreed protocol.

Stewardship arrangements are designed around both the principal's use of the residence and agreed periods of steward availability. Where continuous presence is required, alternative arrangements can be agreed in advance.

Our Principles

Care for the home.
Respect for the people behind it.

A private residence is more than a property. It is a personal space, containing the possessions, routines and private life of the people who call it home.

LRO approaches every residence with the same principles: care, trust, discretion and integrity.

Care

Every residence is treated with attentiveness and consideration. Our role is to notice the small things, respect the character of the home and ensure that anything requiring attention is identified and communicated appropriately.

Trust

Trust is earned through consistency, transparency and good judgement. Every stewardship arrangement is individually agreed, with clear responsibilities, boundaries and reporting protocols.

Discretion

Privacy is fundamental. Information concerning our clients, their residences, their movements and their personal affairs is treated as strictly confidential.

Integrity

We act responsibly and within the boundaries of our role. If something is wrong, we report it. If something is outside our remit, we escalate it to the appropriate professional. We do not take unnecessary decisions on behalf of the principal.

Care · Trust · Discretion · Integrity

The privilege of being entrusted with someone's home carries a responsibility to care for it with judgement, discretion and respect.

How It Works

Simple. Private. Individually arranged.

  1. 01

    Understand

A confidential conversation with the principal or appointed representative to understand the residence, how it is used and the level of stewardship required.

  2. 02

    Select

A proposed resident steward is individually selected and presented for consideration.

  3. 03

    Approve

No steward resides in a property without the client's explicit approval.

  4. 04

    Agree

Occupancy periods, responsibilities, access, reporting arrangements, planned absences and house protocols are agreed in advance.

  5. 05

    Steward

The steward resides in the home during agreed periods and follows the established residence protocols. When the principal requires the residence, the steward vacates according to the agreed arrangement.

Our Standard

Trust is not assumed.

Allowing someone into a private residence requires an exceptional degree of trust.

For that reason, LRO is deliberately selective.

Every proposed steward is individually considered, vetted and presented to the client before any arrangement begins.

Additional due diligence can be accommodated according to the requirements of the principal, family office or appointed representative.
